With global integration of economy and trade investment, China plays a more and more important role in world service trade market due to the readjustment of industrial mix and service trade policy after China' s entry into WTO. In regard to this, transnational incorporations, especially those in tertiary sector, have adjusted their service trade strategy in China as a response. They have changed their market entry mode from a passive, tentative one to a more active one. The past mode of making investment under the guide of Chinese government is also changed, according to the requirement of WTO' s protocols and provisions, into a more competitive investment mode based on the company' s global strategy and its own developing course, which is in line with the new strategies and new policies adopted by Chinese government after its accession into WTO. This strategic readjustment is characterized by the change of investment mode, the arrangement of property rights and management system. The strategic readjustment by multinational incorporations is a normal response to China' s new economic policies after its entry into WTO, which in return calls for corresponding actions taken by Chinese government and enterprises in service industry to meet the new challenges. In view of this, the article puts forward countermeasures and suggestions concerning the formulation of anti-monopoly law and the strategic readjustment of enterprises based on the analysis of the strategic readjustment of transnational incorporations in tertiary sector.
