The idea of Rule of law origins from Ancient Greece and Rome . There is the contradiction between the populace and the aristocrat . The law is the contract that maintains the balance between them . In Middle Ages , the balance among the political powers is maintained by law . The idea of Rule of law is inherited and becomes the modern idea of Rule of law . Ancient China's social structure is unified clan-state . The institution of the patriarchal clan and the state are integrated together .The law and the morality are integrated too , and the law is the tool of the morality . There isn't Rule of law in this society . The social structure is just like the pyramid . After 1949 , the government founds the Unit System that is the continuum of the clan . Last century , China begins to found the Market Economy System to replace the Planned Economy System . And the social powers are pluralist. Now the old social structure is transforming into the modern social structure , in which the middle class has become the major class .The social structure is just like the olive . The order of Rule oflaw that suits the social structure is the Order of Responsiveness Law .
