With the background of attending the international competition, there has been an accelerating tendency for Chinese companies to invest at abroad. But how to ensure the strategy of transnational operations, how to research and implement it, and how to manage overseas company, the Chinese companies must confront these series of problems. In this paper, the author will regard "the investment of Tri-Circle Group in Vietnam" as the projects to analysis these questions. In accordance with the problems and errors in transnational operations, the author gives us his suggestions. Upon the analysis, the author hopes this paper can give some reference and consult for transnational operations.This paper includes 6 parts:Firstly, using the theory of comparative advantage to expound the advantages of Chinese companies in transnational operations.Secondly & thirdly, introducing the operating conditions of "Tri-Circle Group" and its motive of investment in Vietnam. Fourthly, introducing the implement of Vietnam project, and analysis the reasons of failure from both the external and internal factors.Fifthly, Through the projects of Tri-Circle in Vietnam, the author analysis the macroscopical surrounding and own conditions of Chinese companies, and give the suggestions to Tri-Circle for transnational operations in future.
