Terrorism has a long history and has become the "common enemy" of the human society. As the intensified or deformed product of complicated national and international contradictions and confronts, terrorism has a close contact with human rights. Since terrorism has become and will continue to be a serious threat to the peace, security and stability of every single country and the international community, it is extremely necessary for all countries to make joint efforts to counter terrorism. But such efforts must be made within the structure of international law and international counter-terrorism conventions, with the ultimate aim to promote peace and development and to protect the basic human rights. All countries in the world should strengthen their cooperation on the matter of counter-terrorism, stress the leading role of the United Nations, form the proper strategies and fulfill the harmonious development of the task of counter-terrorism and the task of protecting basic human rights. China is also the victim of terrorism and faces the task of dealing with terrorism and protecting basic human rights, we should keep in mind the specific situations in our country, adhere to the principles mentioned above and form the proper strategies, so as to solve the problem successfully.
