With the economic development of China, female labor participation rate has been maintained at a higher level in a long period of time. But, after the 1980's, both the reform of the economic system and the adjustment of the industrial structure has made the antinomy between the total employment amount and the employment structure brought into relief, so that the female labor force supply has also been confronted with great challenges. This dissertation based on the population census data researches and analyzes the labor participation rate which is an important index that reflects female labor force supply. It draws a conclusion that though some labor force with lower techniques, lower educational background and elder in ages have gradually withdrew the labor market under the very rigorous employment circumstance, the female labor participation rate of China is at a higher lever than the ones of developed countries.; female employee distribute in the Third Industry is not complied with the industrial structure fluctuation of the country; the reason can be contributed to the unadjustment between the high female labor participation rate and the economy development level of our country current. Furthermore, all these unadjustment can find reasons at the lower character structure of female labor force of our country. Therefore, for enhancing the female labor force supplies in order to meet the economic development need, we are not supposed to pay much attention to increase the female labor participation rate but to concentrate something more on promoting the female Human Capital, the recognitions of female labor household and growing the society status of female labors.
