Guangdong Province Dongyuan Tourism Potential Of Poverty Alleviation And Development, Ideas And Benefit Analysis

Poverty is a very complicated social economic phenomenon. It is a compositive result of several conditions, such as social, history, economic, geographical, etc. The issue of poverty would result in series of other social economic issues. Therefore, each country of the world put great attention on poverty, aid-the-poor becomes one of the focuses of economic development of each country. Ever since the building of the People's Republic of China, especially from the reform and opening of China we have made great achievements at politics, economy, society, culture, and so on, but the absolute poor is still exist and the issue of poor is still serious with the pattern of the co-exist of multi-poor. At the same time, because of the complexity of the reason to poverty and some reasons of the policy, history and geography, the region differences enlarges more and more, which makes the increase of amount of the poor. So, one of the core issues of the Chinese economic development since 1980s is always the issue of the aid-the-poor.According to the transformation of the seedtime of Chinese economic development and the characteristic of the poverty, the development of the aid-the-poor carried out by Chinese government experienced the change from the "blood transfusion" to the "hematopoiety", the form of the aid-the-poor presents multi-characteristics. Aid-the-poor by tourism is a new form for the development of the poor areas. The poor areas can develop the economy through the exploitation of their abundant tourism resources, which has been proved successfully by many cases all over the world.Setting out from the concept of poverty, chapter 1 of the paper summarized the phases of the aid-the-poor carried out in China and the change of the strategy of the aid-the-poor, then proposed the concept, the correlative theory and the history, actuality, fruits of the study about domestic and overseas of the aid-the-poor by tourism, then the writer lists the study design of the paper in the end.In chapter 2, the writer estimates economic development of Dongyuancounty, analyses the history of the aid-the-poor by tourism of Guangdong province and the actuality of the development of Dongyuan aid-the-poor by tourism. On the base of this analysis, there is a correlation analysis about the tourism development and the economic development of Dongyuan county, then the writer discusses the competition and cooperation of Dongyuan tourism resources and its peripherals.Chapter 3, the writer analyses the potential of the development of the aid-the-poor by tourism of Dongyuan county, the analysis includes five aspects, the attraction of tourism resource, the actuality of the social economy, the capacity of tourism circumstances, the condition of work force and the tourism market.Based on the before-mentioned and combining the existing foundation of Dongyuan tourism development, Chapter 4 advances the holistic idea, the countermeasure, and the problems which should be avoid during the development of Dongyuan aid-the-poor by tourism.It is a study of the effect of the development of Dongyuan aid-the-poor by tourism in chapter 5, including economic effect, social effect and environmental effect.Finally, though the research of this paper, the writer proposes some correlative issues and discussions of the present study about the aid-the-poor by tourism.
