Transformation Of Chinese Rural Mass Incidents

At present, China is undergoing a historical process of transformation from an agricultural society to an industrial one, and from a traditional society to a modern one. The contradiction and conflicts in rural China become increasingly outstanding, while the Popular Resistant Accidents occur frequently, because of the great influence brought along by the alteration and the reformation of the social structure and the interest pattern. The consistent occurrences and the negative impacts originated from these troubles have become an intractable problem handicapping the stability and development of the rural areas. These would directly cause interference over the stability of the whole society, harassing the reformation and development, what's more, influencing the entire course of our socialism modernization construction, if not prevented efficiently and dealt with validly. The paper tries to analyze and treat the Popular Resistant Accidents in rural China comprehensively and rationally based on the theory of social conflicts, which considers that besides the harmony and conformity, every society contains conflicts and contradictions as well. In addition to the negative and destructive impacts of the conflicts of the social group, the conflicts, under certain circumstances, would exert positive effects on enhancing group adaptability and group inner conformity. Therefore, although the Popular Resistant Accidents in rural China will bring some impacts, even series of destructive effects, to the social stability and development of the rural areas, they also enable the peasants to release pressure and abreact discontentment, at the same time, send out warning or signals to the whole society by which the conflicts and contradictions in rural areas can be disembroiled and mitigated. This is helpful for the conformity of the rural areas and the social advancement. Apart from the introduction and the tag, the contents of this paper consist of four parts. The forth part is the countermeasure analysis to the Popular Resistant Accidents in rural China, advocating the perfection of the system of interest protection for peasants, the improvement of the working system of the grass roots governance, the consummation of the system of litigation and requirement of the profit for peasants, the perfection of the system of the legal function and the establishment of the system of scientific social inspection and prediction of warning, so that, the Popular Resistant Accidents in rural China can be preferably prevented and kept within limit.
