At present ,guiding by the law of market-oriented economy as well as national macroscopic regulates policy,the industrial structure and scale,its competition mode in domestic architecture & construction industry is on the rapid adjustment.The result of the adjustment is the new competition pattern of domestic architecture & construction industry.Now the enterprises are market oriented and competition between them are clearified demarcated multi-level. The Second Construction Corporation of CNPC has qualification grade A of general contracts on chemical-petroleum engineering construction. During the past few years,the operation environmemt of SCC has changed quickly. Facing the impact of industry structure adjustment,how to grasp the opportunities and meets challenge is the important subject put in face of all the staff,particularly high executives of the company.By way of carrying on the careful analysis to the external competition environment and the internal resources condition, this article summed up the chances and threats that the SCC company is facing with as well as its self superiorities and inferiorities. We put forward strategic objective and the mission of SCC company. In this paper, by applying internal-external factor matrix combining SWOT analyses, we also try to make out the initial judgement.of SCC company's strategic direction. Finally, linking up the concrete circumstances,we probe several critical resources integration problems of SCC company that are very important to meet its strategic objective.Hoping that by improving some of critical competition factor,we can raises the competition strength of SCC company substantially in the short-term.
