In modern companies, the performance level has been an important part of core competence, which has also been composed of quality and service. More and more companies have realized that the performance measurement is very important to employee's development and training.But as a new and developing research field in China, performance measurement has been understood as a theory concept and just few companies had the practice of performance measurement. On contrary, many companies regard performance measurement as a routine work of Human Resource Department. For that reason, performance measurement can't elaborate its function as guiding the development of the organization.Based on this situation, the problem which we need to solve right now is to establish a performance measurement system which has the guidance function to company's development. To make the performance measurement work more efficiently, we must link it with management theory. According to this idea, firstly, the company's performance object must be divided into different parts which would become the departments and even the employee's performance object. The process of performance object's formulation will also be a communication process but not an order-making process. Secondly, referring to the idea of project management, the performance measurement can be seen as a project and different employee has different responsibility and finish the whole project with cooperative working. And the performance indicator can be made by job description which comes from project management. Finally, we must establish the salary and benefit system in the motivation way and do the positive feedback to the performance problems.The point view of this thesis is based on research and interview and hope it can provide the practical guidance to companies.
