Compared with other industries of China, the tourism industry is flowing the world development closely. Especially in 2001, state department issued the No.9 document about the innovate and development of tourism, it is promote the innovation of enterprises' system, arouse the enterprises become internationalization and extroversion and holistic with the good chance to join the WTO, also arouse the enterprises entering the world economy commerce. We shall using the advantaged exterior circumstance, driving the innovation of industry, criterion the actions of enterprise, constitute the order of market, in favor of the continuance of the whole industry. At the same time of entering the WTO, we shall wake up to that the boiled market competition will following with the opportunity. Especially for tour enterprises, the human resources is the most competitive factor. So the human resources of tour enterprises is the springboard of this thesis, investigate the theory and analyze the case of performance management of hotels', as the example of performance management of Anhui province, trying to advance the reasonable performance management mode.The thesis is consists of 5 chapters:In Chapter 1, General introduction, introduce the significance of investigation, method and framework. Introduce the background and development of the performance management theory.In Chapter 2, Basic concepts, introduce the concepts, elements and development of performance management of hotels'.In Chapter 3, Basic study, comparing and analyzing the actuality performance management of inside and outside countries of hotels'. Discussing from the culture, salary, assess, tutorship and inspirit, deputy with the middling and minitype hotels whose property belong to national, people and personal. Analyze the status of performance management and indicate the problems and abuses.In Chapter 4, As the example of Anhui province, analyze the problems and advise from the system management, the advices consists culture, performance plan, performance communication, performance assess and performance approving.In Chapter 5, the conclusion, summarizes and explores the main achievements of the thesis as well as work to be done for further improvement.The author quote some literatures, and investigate several representational hotels and achieve the first-hand information. There still remains much imperfection and more research work is needed for further study and improvement.
