.2004 ~ 2008 Graduate Employment Trend Forecasts Of Yangtze River Delta Region

As the main force of the science and economy development of our country in the 21th century, postgraduates full-employment is very important for the development of social politics economy science and culture. In the background that employment situation becomes serious and college students' employment is more and more difficult, forecasting the trend of postgraduates employment in the future years of Yangtse River Delta, will be helpful to improving employment work, boosting the individual' promotion, stimulating continuous economic increase of this area and even the whole country, and keeping continuous and healthy development of postgraduate education.Under investigating the status quo of postgraduates employment in Yangtse River Delta, the paper analyses the interior and outer conditions of present postgraduates employment, and generalizes the main influencing factors are economic development employer tropism enrollment enlarging subjects structure job expectations. According to this conclusion, with the trend extrapolation method, the article make the qualitative analysis and quantitative forecast on the postgraduates' demand and supply of Yangtse River Delta in the next five years. We find that under the condition that the speed of economic development doesn't decrease, the postgraduates employment market will remain the situation that "demand is larger than supply" in Yangtse River Delta in the next five years, but along with the employment advantage of postgraduates in the market gradually disappears, the employment pressure will become more and more higher. Questionnaires on the postgraduates' employment expectations show that their employment expectations are still on higher side. From above, it can be concluded that the postgraduates employment will face more difficulties in Yangzi River Delta in the next five years, and the situation is not very optimistic. At the same time, the structural contradiction between demand and supply in postgraduates' employment market will become more poignant.Finally, the paper put forward five suggestions to resolve the problem of postgraduates employment: retaining continuous economic increase, boosting industrial structure adjustment; strengthening the talents demand forecast, adjustingthe structure of subjects; controlling enrolling in suitable speed, enhancing the quality of postgraduate education; reinforcing the employment guide and service; modulating the job expectations in time according to the reality.
