The six national census bulletin of China and the second national demographic data bulletin of disabled people show that there are 82.96 millions of people with disabilities in China, which accounts for 6.34% of the total national population, involving one-fifth family and more than 200 millions of households across the country. And employment is an important way for disable people to obtain a basic living guarantee. However, their employment situation is not optimistic. It will become a threat to the reform, development and stability of China, directly affecting the establishment of socialist harmonious society if the group interests of disabled people with a large scale cannot be met. Therefore, it has an extremely important reference value for conducting study on the employment situation of disabled people, which can discover the current problems existing in the employment of disabled people as well as the influencing factors, so as to put forward countermeasures to promote the employment of disabled people.Achieving the full employment of disabled people not only means being able to help disabled people gain self-realization and improve the quality of life, but also realizes the goal of social life of" equality, participation and sharing" of disabled people, which is the ultimate solution to the root of the social problems. However, currently the studies on the employment of disabled people are concentrated on sound people while the studies and attention on the employment of disabled people is relatively insufficient. The disabled people themselves have physical and psychiatric obstacles, so their education levels are generally lower with a weaker capacity for employment competition, which results in a weak position of them in the labor market compared with sound people. The disabled people face many barriers to employment. Based on relevant statistical data. This paper carries out study on the existing problems in employment of disabled people as its influencing factors, which can promote the implementation and improvement of the employment work of disabled people as well as related policies and legislation, drawing the attention of people from all walks of life to the employment of disabled people, so as to better guarantee the achievement of employment rights and interests of disabled people.This paper carries out analysis of demographic characteristics for the disabled people in China by using the method of demography. It starts from the employment statues of disabled people in China, concretely studying the current problems in the employment of disabled people, the influencing factors as well as the countermeasures. First of all, supported by the relevant data such as the Statistical Yearbook of China Disabled Persons’Career, the status of disabled people in China and the monitoring reports of well-off process, this paper starts from the natural structure and social structure, analyzing the employment status of disabled people. Secondly, combined with related political and economic factors, it discusses the problems in employment of disabled people in China from three aspects as well as the factors influencing the employment of disabled people. Finally, with regard to the problems and influencing factors of employment of disabled people, based on the foreign experience in promoting the employment of disabled people, this paper practically proposes countermeasures for promoting the employment of disabled people from three levels, hoping to promote the employment of disabled people in a full range, achieving the employment guarantee of disabled people.The study finds that the overall employment status of disabled people is as follows: the disability of disabled persons themselves makes them being in a weak position in the job market, and their employment levels and position levels are lower than general workers, the employment situation is grim. The employment rate of female disabled people is lower with a poorer occupational structure; and the employment rate of young disabled people should draw public attention; the different levels of educational attainment has greater impact on the employment of disabled people; there is a huge difference between the urban disabled people and rural disabled people. The employment mode of rural disabled people is single, and the employment quality is poor; there is a big difference in the employment rate of disabled people with different types of disabilities in the group of disabled people. The main problems in the employment of disable people are as follows:the function of centralized job placement gradually decreases, the development of the employment mode of dispersing according to proportion remains stagnant, and the individual employment mode of disabled people has many obstacles; the contradiction of supply exceeding demand in China labor market has existed for a long time; the national policy and system on the employment of disabled people is still imperfect; "public disability bias" and employment discrimination remains serious. The main paths to solve the employment of disable people are as follows:in terms of improving the supply levels of labor of disabled people, strengthen the rehabilitation of disabled people and improve the physical and mental quality of disabled people; with regard to expanding the labor needs of disabled people, actively promote concentrated employment, increase employment in proportion, and develop self-employment and flexible employment; in view of improving the labor supply and demand of disabled people, improve the laws and regulations for the employment of disabled people, and strengthen the construction of employment information of disabled people, and so on.
