While manufacturing industry and the market in China gradually become a part of the global production system, manufacturing transnational corporations(TNCs) affect our country deepmostly. Under this kind of background, we attempt to systematically analyze manufacturing TNCs' operation in Chinese market in this article. We use "business pattern", a model which enterprisers carry on the strategic design for enterprises' strategies and management, dissertate the following five aspects: organizational structure, business scope, customer choice, gaining value and strategic controlling, and summarize their successful operation characteristics. We may provide the feasible framework or methods for thorough research on TNCs in China, and benefit Chinese enterprises to compete and cooperate with them and carry on transnational management. The first chapter focuses on international management theories and reviews history of TNCs' internationalization. The main text follows method of "environment- strategy- structure". Second chapter produces the analysis model of this article, "five essential factors". Third-to-sixth chapters analyze manufacturing TNCs' business in China systematically and demonstratively from such five aspects as organizational structure, business scope, customer choice, gaining value and strategic controlling. Seventh chapter is the case. We use the model of "five essential factors" to analyze Giant(China) Ltd.. In conclusion, manufacturing TNCs, facing the globalization pressure and localization pressure, pursue "Global Thinking and Local Operation" strategy in Chinese market, and their business pattern is the best choice and combination of five essential factors, which results in bringing China's manufacturing industry and market into the global division of labor system that TNCs control and thereby is helpful for their continuous profit..
