During the development period of international economy, it has been a common phenomenon of international economy that more and more corporations have gone abroad to operate. The 21centuiy will be booming period for transnational operation. Transnational Corporation will conduct huge investment and large size trade.More and more transnational corporation will operate in China after China join the WTO (the World Trade and Organization), which will no doubt exert great pressure on national enterprise. How to meet the challenge? It is passive for our national enterprises only to stick to domestic market. The enterprise needs develop and development calls for ever-increasing room, so it is necessary and inevitable for national cooperation to conduct transnational operation.The first chapter is about the background of the dissertation and the trends inside and outside our country, the train of thought and new ideas comes into being. In the second chapter, the definition and character of transnational operation is first talked about. The theory of transnational operation and the motive of transnational operation are narrated simply in the chapter. The third chapter analyses the situation of transnational operation hi China. The forth chapter compares and analyses three entry mode of transnational operation. The fifth chapter talked about the some factor should be thought when a corporation chooses the entry mode and brings forth two methods for the choice. Finally, the chapter gives advice that the primary entry mode should be taken by Chinese enterprise. The last chapter gives some suggest that how to improve the development of the transnational operation in China.
