Private company is not a novelty in China .But Delong is quiet special for the scale he developed within such a few years and for his longevity in capital market .The dispute about Delong was extremely hot. Some said that Delong was strategist who always know what he want and how to get it .Others however thought Delong was just a liar who invent stories about industrial combination to take money from investors .In year 2004 ,the stocks of list companies under Delong were all going into a decline .The empire of Delong thereafter collapsed. The problem of Delong is so complicate that it will take efforts to make one point clear. In this theme, we will focus on the analysis of the model of Delong's capital operation, revealing its intrinsic defect.This paper is consisting of three parts:First part is the introduction of Delong's background. This part includes the introduction of the early history about Delong, the brief description of Delong's capital operation .Second part majors in case study. The first half of this part analyze the detail behavior when Delong surf on stock market, reveling the true purpose for Delong making industrial combination. The second half we focus on how Delong could build its own financial empire step by step within a few years and what he made it for .From the analysis we can realize why Delong create myth in capital market.Third part lists the factors that cause Delong' model defeating .This part discuss that industry prosperous is the key element for a company successfully playing games in capital market. Insufficiency in the effort of running business leads to Delong's ruin.At last of this theme, we mention some shortcomings of this study. We hope your criticism can help us consummate it.
