Since there is a great number and a great range of housing under construction in China, there is a great prospect for the development of housing industrialization. This paper expounds on the gap in the housing industrialization between china and the developed countries and the existing problems, and proposed a strategy in the development of housing industrialization.In the first chapter, the concept of housing industrialization and the corresponding understanding of the concept are introduced. The ultimate goal and the fundamental task of the housing industrialization under the current circumstances are analyzed.In the second chapter the author addresses herself to the necessity of realizing housing industrialization in China from various aspects, such as solving the quality problem of houses, having a fundamental change in the construction pattern of houses, how an acceleration of the urbanization of our cities being better achieved, promoting the development of related industries, improving the circulation rate of capitals and promoting the export of certain related products, etc.The third chapter introduces the status quo and the development trend of housing industrialization in such developed countries as Sweden, Denmark, US, Japan etc.The fourth chapter analyzes the gap in industrialization betweenChina and the developed countries and the main problems existing in the industrialization.The fifth chapter, based on the condition of our country, proposes the strategies for promoting the housing industrialization from the aspects, such as the measures the government should take, enhancing the standardization of housing industrialization, establishing and completing the recommendation system of parts, components and accessories, greatly promoting the construction system suitable for housing industrialization, the integration between construction and remodeling, establishing the national exemplary base for housing industrialization, establishing group industrialized companies and increasing the technology content of housing industrialization.Chapter six analyzes the situation of housing industrialization in Shenzhen and Dalian.
