Sino-german Exhibition Industry Market Structure, Behavior, Performance Comparison Study

The exhibition industry has been greatly emphasized for its high outcome and great advantage in China nowadays. However, different kinds of problems exist in China's exhibition industry and affect it rapid growth. The author cut in with a special angle of structure and performance, which is seldom studied before. By calculating the concentration rate of China's exhibition industry with that of the Germany, the author points out that the unhealthy structure: small in scale, harsh in competition, little in diversification has affected the performance and the direct cause of the problem occurred in China's exhibition industry. Upon knowing this problem, the author proposes a series of ways to solve the above questions. For example, the author requests the authority to strengthen its existence in the industry. By having the objectives of improve the performance, the measures of improving its structure can be taken. Finally the author got the conclusion that bias in structure of China's exhibition industry has greatly harmed its performance and measures can be taken by the government to alter the biased structure.
