Sichuan is a great province famous for tourism. In 2004,the whole province realized 56.623 billion Yuan of total tourist income, and increased by 34.6% compared with the same period of last year. The total number of travelers reaches to 114 million. The fast development of this trade has absorbed a large amount of investment. At present, company A is planning to explore the Yellow River prairie tourist zone which lies in Ruoergai County, Aba State. In the course of surveying and developing, author found that although the Yellow River prairie tourist zone, together with Jiu Zhaigou , Huanglong scenic spot ,etc ,lists in big Jiuzhai international tourist zone which get great support from our province especially, compared with adjoining two scenic spots, there is greater disparity no matter in beautiful scenery , or popularity. By the study on this case, the thesis aims at discussing how to turn back the weak competition tendency of the Yellow River prairie, solving the developing problem of the Yellow River prairie tourist zone and offering reference to policymaker of A Company, also for the developers of the similar tourist resources. In general, the solution this thesis puts forward is to change the existing localization of tourism, goes a way combine the sightseeing tourism with special travel, making the Yellow River prairie tourist zone set up a good relationship with the peripheral scenic spot on the basis of competition, thus obtains the competition advantage and bring larger investment return for A Company.
