Nowadays each country emphasizes on the development of software industry. Compared with other countries, the development of software industry in China, in which the key factor is talents, is not satisfied. In order to impel the development of software industry in China, the first step must be taken to resolve the problems in talents training in software industry.This thesis firstly explains the definition of software industry and software engineering and the characteristics of software talents and then analyses the problems in talents training in software industry in China. After that, it studies the situation, the predominance and the experience of talents training in both USA software industry and Indian software industry, pointing out that the predominance of talents training in USA software industry is higher education and that the predominance of talents training in Indian software industry is general professional education. Through using their successful and practical experience as reference, aiming at the problems in talents training in software industry in China, this thesis proposes three countermeasures. The first one is to establish the system of talents training in software industry. The second one is to improve the mode of talents training in software college. The last one is to set up the foundation of training 'blue collar' talents of software industry. These three countermeasures suit the remedy to the case and provide the constructive ideas about the research on talents training in software industry in China.
