With the prompt development of science & technology and international economic integration, many enterprises find it difficult to deal with dramastic market competetion on their own strength. Western enterprises, especially multinational companies have great changes in their competitive strategy in succession due to various pressures, namely from competition to coopetition. As a kind of coopetitive form, strategic alliance has been focused by many scholars and alliance managers. However, there is a wondering phenomenon: the success rate for alliance is very low, only nearly to 30%. In fact many factors have influence on alliance success rate, most scholars analyze the phenomena from the qualitative piont of view. In order to validate those qualitative views, in this dissertation some factors that influence alliance success rate are studied by quantitative model. In order to simplify the model, partners'resource commitment quantity is used to measure alliance success rate. On the basis of game theory and the model of alliance competition and cooperation, the supervising cost and supervise & decision behavior is introduced in this dissertation, and it is analyzed how partners'resource commitment quantity is affected by alliance structure factors. The result shows that all the alliance structure factors, such as alliance types, profit-sharing arrangements, the size of supervising cost,market reward rate and supervise & decision behavior, have influence on partners'resource committing decision, thus affect alliance success rate. Those results can be used to instruct alliance managers to choose proper alliance structure factors during the course of alliance in order to improve alliance success rate.
