In such circumstances, increasingly banking managers focus on and study the competitiveness, which is the long-term decisive factor to the survival and development of the enterprise. Starting with the theories of competitiveness, strategic management and marketing, this thesis makes comprehensive analysis on the exterior background, realistic and potential competitiveness of Agricultural Bank of China Jiangsu branch.At first, the thesis analyses the exterior background of Agricultural Bank of China Jiangsu branch, and the austere competitive situation in the same trade. Then, based on the analytic theory of the competitiveness, this thesis expatiates not only the meaning of competitiveness, but also the basic theory and method of the analytic theory of the competitiveness.
