Improve The Social Security System, Promote Social Equity

As a product of industrialization, modern social security system enjoys a long history and plays an important role in stabilizing society and promoting social fairness. By providing security for workers after retirement, the social security system plays an increasingly important role in social and economic life, and occupies an important position in the development of national economy.In the development of human history, striving for social fairness is the common goal of the majority in society. Fairness is the primary and fundamental choice of modern society and the rationale for its arrangement of rules. Social security is a kind of regulator in the realization of social fairness. Under the conditions of market economy, social security has more important implications. Social and economic development, promotion of the integration of society and the realization of overall development all relies on the philosophy of social fairness and its rules. In recent years, like economic system, the social security system has undergone a series of reform and achieved tangible results. But fundamentally speaking, its imperfection has adversely affected the fairness of social security.In view of this, this thesis believes that social security system should be vigorously promoted in the countryside so that the marginalized can be covered by this program. Among other measures of perfecting the social security system are strengthening the role of social security in regulating income, legalizing social security and strengthening its law enforcement. Through these means, the gap between the rural areas and the urban areas can be narrowed and fairness of society could be achieved.
