Employee's satisfaction refers to staffs metal feeling compare with his/her expected value through the sensible result to enterprises. Staff satisfaction means the degree of comparing staff actual feeling of accepting enterprise and his/her expected value (staffs satisfaction = actual feeling / expected value). This definition reflects staff's satisfactory degree and reflects the actual result in reaching the staff's demands too. To be satisfied is a relative concept: It is satisfying to go beyond expected value; It is basically satisfying to reach expected value; Lower than expected value is unsatisfying. Satisfaction is the satisfaction quantization description. The stronger the satisfactory feeling is, the greater satisfaction is; on the contrary, the weaker, the smaller.Staff's satisfaction can be regarded as "barometer " of enterprise's staff's working attitude, if human resources management find out the employee's satisfaction regularly, the questions existing in business administration can be discovered. The improvement of these questions can make staff's satisfaction keep on a better level, thus improve enterprise's performance.Staffs satisfaction generally includes following 5 aspects 16 factors: The satisfaction to work itself (work suitable degree, responsibility matching degree, work challenge degree, competence degree); The satisfaction to the recompense (approval degree of working, undertaking fulfillment, the fair sense of the reward, the chance of promotion); Satisfaction to working background (workspace quality, the system of working time, the degree of working equipment allocation, treatment satisfaction of welfare ); Satisfaction to worker's relation (harmonization of cooperation, degree of information opening); satisfaction to entire enterprise (degree of knowing the enterprise, degree of organization and participation ).The hotel with stars belongs to serving industry, in a certain signification, it would rather a formal industry. Value of produce in hotel with stars represent through the service of employee, While the attitude, manner, words and deeds are also involved in each service. All these will have important influence on contentment of guest. So the hotel that hopes to win with service must pay close attention to staff and strengthen it to the front of the serving value chain -concerning of "staff's satisfaction ". Namelystar hotels raising staff satisfaction through customer satisfaction or because of staff satisfaction to raise customer satisfaction, it is the only way to make hotel's developing healthily. Therefore, star hotels staff satisfaction research is very important.The service is the main products of star hotels, so the reliance on people is more serious than that of other trades. The human resources supply insufficiently in star hotels in recent years; Study organization lacks the systematic management; The inside communication management is poor, lack staff's participation sense; It is unable to meet staff's personal development's needs; The staff motivation system is designed to be in a mess; as result, the loss rate becomes higher and higher. As administrator of star hotel, it is key point to look for the effective way, carry on staffs satisfaction management, reduce the human resources risk, and attract and retain talents.This thesis uses analytical method and induction, on the basis of the theoretical research in relevant staffs satisfaction, starts from hotel service interaction and hotel management features, analyzes relation between staff satisfaction and customer satisfaction, analyzes the actual data grasped by myself, confirms the main factors of influencing staffs satisfaction, studies current situation of and problems, and finally probes strategy (or the way) of star hotel staff satisfaction management.As China joins WTO and the development at full speed of star hotels in China, talents will become the most valuable resource and wealth. Only establish the idea of " people first ", and put staffs satisfaction management in the first place, could it give full play to the enthusiasm and creativity of existing talents of hotels, keep the key competitiveness of hotels finally, and win the competition advantage.
