To introduce the meaning and method of study in the thesis.The second is to introduce the conception of international settlement,and analyse the specialty and history of development.The third is to introduce the statement of international settlement in the state owned bank , to find out the problem limiting the development.and analysis the reason of the limition.The fourth is to analysis the infection to the international settlement from the change of circumstance,pointing out that it is concluded by the attitude of the state owned bank that whether it is the opportunity or the challenge.The fifth is to discuss the strategy and method promoting the development of international settlement.The sixth is conclusion,to sum up this thesis.The thesis point out that we can shorten the distance between the state owned bank and foreign bank of clearing speed in foreign currency by improving the straight through rate,extending the operating center to the sub branch,and can compete with foreign bank by concentrating on the sevice capacity and working efficiency, improving custom deliverd value,not discount on the price.also point out it is very important for the international settlement that customer manager joint the product design and quality control,This is the novel place of this thesis.
