Since the end of the 1970s, Islamic Fundamentalism recovered in the world. Aftertaking the power in Iran, Sudan and other countries, Islamic fundamentalism becamean independent political force in the world political arena. Although some politicalgroups of the Islamic Fundamentalism have some attitudes of anti-Americanism, U.S.adopted a policy of tolerance. Having a low-profile attitude, U.S. wanted to coaxIslamic Fundamentalism to anti-communism. During the period of the Soviet Unioninvading Afghanistan, this kind of policy appeared more clearly.After the cold war, the international security situation has been different.Especially after the '911', U.S. regards the extreme anti-America groups of theIslamic Fundamentalism as the realistic threat to U.S. security. Therefore, U.S.relatively changed its policy toward the Islamic Fundamentalism (relatively meansU.S. still utilizes some groups of the Islamic Fundamentalism to oppose China andRussia.). U.S. adopts a policy combing with military strike and promotion of thedemocracy to solve the problem of Islamic Fundamentalism. But this causes theequally response by the Islamic Fundamentalism, the relationship between thembecame tenser and tenser.
