Cold War And The New China, "one-sided Foreign Policy Establishment

The People's Republic of China has chosen the foreign policy of "leans to one side" under the cold war background just established. This policy has had a great impact not only on China but also affected the entire Cold War foreign relations. With the history file of Sino-Russian large-scale declassified after the Cold War, the foreign policy of "leans to one side" became a researching hotspot in recent years and has achieved a lot. On the base of previous achievements, this dissertation explore the relations between the Cold War with the establishment of "leans to one side" policy and the significance and limitations of such a policy in line with the objective manner and used research methods. Then I summarized some experience and lesson that can be used for reference by china diplomacy in the new era.This dissertation consists of four parts as following:Part one. I briefly expounded the international environment facing China and the foreign policy of Chinese Communist Party before Cold War. The Sino-Japanese War is the important constituent of the world antifascist war. As the main strength of counter- Fascist country, America and Soviet all supports the Sino-Japanese War. But they mainly support the Kuomintang government and refused to provide the aid to the Communist Party of China. After the victory of anti-Japanese war, the US policy toward China gradually transformed into supporting the KMT and opposing the CPC. Soviet Union continues consider US and the KMT government as the partner and has had the negative manner and indifferent standpoint to the revolution of China. In the face of such severe international situation, the Communist Party of China has adopted the flexible foreign policy and has made certain effect.Part two. I have explained the outburst of the cold war and impact on China. The incisive opposition of national interest, foreign strategic, the ideology and the social system between America and Soviet caused the eruption of the cold war. America and Soviet have both stepped up adjusting their foreign policy with the intensification of the Cold War and the rapid development of China's revolution.
