The Chinese Communist Party's Awareness Of Nationalism And Development

Generally speaking Nationalism is defined to be a kind of creed or theory which base on national consciousness. As Nationalism is spred and developed in modern times, which has the same point in time and space with the born of CCP, thus, Nationalism inevitably has influences on the CCP's establishment of creed, course, policies and so on. In different period CCP always combine the national theories of Marxism with the concrete revolutionary and constructional situations of China, and make suitable national policies for the Chinese situation, which help to gain the victory of revolution and construction. It could say that CCP's understanding of Nationalism go through a step by step process. This paper uses the way of literature analysis to tease and expound CCP's understanding and development with Nationalism. There are four sections in this paper: first part is problems put forward; second one is the background and the form of theory for Nationalism in modern China; third one is the historic process of CCP's understanding of Nationalism; and the last one is conclusion.
