Research On The Evolution Of Sun Yat-sen's Political Nationalism Thought

Sun Yat-sen was both the forerunner of China's modern democratic revolution and the earliest practitioner and leader of China's modern nationalist revolution.In-depth study of the formation and development of Sun Yat-sen's nationalism thoughts,scientifically grasp the origin and development of the socialist country with Chinese characteristics in the new era,especially scientifically grasp the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics that is still surrounded by capitalism(imperialism).The problem has the theoretical and practical significance of advancing with the times.Sun Yat-sen's nationalism thoughts involves politics,economy,culture and many other aspects,but the focus of this paper is on the development and evolution of Sun Yat-sen's political nationalism.On this issue,many scholars argue that Sun Yat-sen was originally Han nationalist(ethnic nationalist),or at most a nationalist who changed from Han nationalism(ethnic nationalism)to the pluralistic integration of the Chinese nationalism.The lack of in-depth study of the specific and historical conditions and historical background of the formation and development of nationalism thoughts undoubtedly interferes with people's comprehensive and accurate understanding of Sun Yat-sen's political nationalism.Therefore,this thesis takes Sun Yat-sen's political nationalism as the core research clue,adopts the basic research methods of historical materialism and dialectical materialism,supplements the literature method and the political and historical research methods,and defines Sun Yat-sen's political nationalism.The basic meaning of this paper analyzes the realistic background and ideological and theoretical origins of Sun Yat-sen's political nationalism thoughts,and combs Sun Yat-sen's political nationalism from Han nationalism to “five ethnic republics” and then “five ethnic republics” to “Chinese nationalism”.On this basis,this paper sums up the characteristics of the evolution of Sun Yat Sen's political nationalism.The article argues that the evolution of Sun Yat-sen's political nationalism is concrete and historical.When it was first formed,it couldn't be ignored that Han nationalism is the most direct and cohesive political mobilization slogan under the long-term political pressure of the Manchu government,nor can we ignore thepractice of Sun Yat-sen's political nationalism revolution at that time and the early understanding of the concept of modern western nation and nationalism by Chinese people.In fact,the concept of the modern European nation was first introduced to China via Japan,which is the meaning of race,emphasizing the common ancestral,regional,linguistic and cultural factors for the cohesion of ethnic forces to establish a modern sovereign state(ie,a nation state).It had a direct impact on the formation of Sun Yat-sen's original Han nationalism.With the deepening of Chinese understanding of the concept of modern nation,especially after Sun Yat Sen traveled to Europe and America and Liang Qichao as the representative of Chinese reformers put forward the concept of "Chinese nation",Sun Yat Sen has a deeper understanding of the essence of establishing a unified national political community beyond the original factors of race,region,language and culture.This turns the Sun Yat-sen's Han nationalism thought to the “five ethnic republican” thought,and then turns to the “Chinese nationalism”of pluralism and unity.At the same time,Communist Party of China made clear position on the anti-imperialist and anti-feudalism,and Communist Party of China played a key role in Sun Yat-sen's political nationalism breaking away from the imperialist fetters,And turning to a complete anti-imperialist and anti-feudal “ Chinese nationalism ”.All these specific and historical evolution have highlighted the historical inevitability of Sun Yat-sen's political nationalism from Han nationalism to“ Chinese nationalism”.
