It is of great significance to conclude the experience of communicating the socialist thoughts and explore the approaches for better communicating in the new situations, so as to maintain the vital force and vigor of the socialist thoughts, enforce the impelling and penetrating efficiency, as well as foster the socialist citizens in the new century. This paper reviews the general ways of socialist thought communicating and the major communicating approaches in China, summarizes, compares and analyzes the contributions, efficiency and influences of the communicating approaches, brings forward the severe challenges confronted by the socialist thought communicating in the new century, and ponders on the improvement of the communicating approaches.This paper is consisted of three parts.The first part reviews briefly the general ways of socialist thought communicating: the Marxist classical writers paid great attention to the socialist thought communicating with the press media such as the party newspapers and magazines; the communicating process of the scientific socialist thoughts is a process of controversies against the other socialist thoughts; the Marxist thoughts and theories shall be inculcated to the working class by the advanced intellectuals; the socialist revolution and building practice enhances the extensive communicating of socialist thoughts; the literature and art works communicates the socialist thoughts to the general people.The second part summarizes the major communicating approaches of the socialist thoughts in China, analyzes the major experience and brings forward the severe challenges confronted by the socialist thought communicating in the new century.The major approaches are summed up as follows: as a western trend of thoughts, the socialist thoughts were introduced by the advanced intellectuals with the translated works, controversies and participation in the labor movements and peasant movements; as the theory of the new-democratic revolution in China, the Communist Party of China (CPC for short hereunder) enriched and developed the socialist thoughts step by step in conformity to the practical situations in China, made use of the education carriers such as the newspapers and magazines to inculcate the Marxism to the people, participated in the labor movements and revolution practice to communicate the Marxism and Leninism, conducted the Marxism and Leninism education in the forms of organization establishment and rectification campaigns; as...
