The human-oriented conception is the reflection of the outlook of scientific development which is based on Marxist historical materialism. It means that human which is the center must be respected and human's all-around development is its final target. When the human-oriented conception is applied in legal area, it asks the modern law to contain human spirit, adopt the idea that human right is supreme and show the utmost solicitude for human. The ultimate aim of law is to obtain interests and happiness for human and liberate human absolutely through respecting human. So the modern legal system should be based on human rights and regard freedom, equality and interests as its pursuit in value. Promoting human's all-round development, the accomplishment of justice and the construction of harmonious society are the principles of the realization of human-oriented conception of legal value. To achieve this object, it requires not only the idea of rule by law which contains humanism spirit and the right-based legal system, but also the human-oriented legal conception should be utilized to the practice which is based on democracy and science, so that the law can serve human really and achieve the harmoniousness and unification between the law and the human.
