Marx said, the political emancipation did not equal to the human liberation. In his opinion, human rights does not only have the political meaning, but also has the philosophical meaning. He criticized the modern conception of human rights’ philosophical basis and the self-seeker in the civil society. He insisted that the human rights was the product of particular historical circumstances and would uplift when the society was developing. Therefore, studying Marx’s philosophical consideration of Human Rights is of significance. On one hand, we can understand the progress and limitation of the modern human rights in depth and take hold of the modern human rights theory’s essence. On the other hand, it does good to grasp the essence of Marx’s philosophical ideas of human rights, and to understand the philosophical meaning of human rights in recent society. The paper is divided into four parts.Part one mainly introduces the history\headlines and philosophical basis of the modern human rights.Part two mainly inspects the progress of how Marx’s conception of human rights comes to be, in order to explain the main context of Marx’s philosophical consideration on human rights.Part three chiefly analyses Marx’s criticisms on the modern human rights to prove that Marx’s philosophical consideration on human rights is scientific.Part four briefly explains the importance of Marx’s philosophical consideration on human rights in current society.
