National Interest Diplomacy With Putin

National intersts is the basis of diplomatic policy. How to recognize their own interests and how to use peoper method to achieve them are the keys to judge whether a country's diplomatic policy is right or not. After Russian independence,new Russian leaders who were under the leadership of Yeltsin estimated the demestic and international wrongly and performed unfit diplomatic policy and strategy for the Russian interests. This policy was the descent of Russian actual national strategy and international status. After assuming office, Putin carried on comprehensive analysis and evaluation of Russian's national strength and international relations,and readjusted its foreign policy and strategies on the basis of deep rethinking the unproper Russian diplomatic policy performed before.The thesis analyzes the background,basic intention,chief character and the diplomatic action of Putin'diplomatic strategy revolving around national interests ,discussing the effect of it. Finally ,the auther tries to forecast the future orientation of Russian diplomacy. The auther looks into the national interests and construsts the reseach frame work in the perspective of reality. The auther wants to make rational explanation to the adjustment of Putin's diplomatic strategy.This thesis can be divided into introduction and four other parts. The introduction illustrates the research definition,the research method and the analysis perspective.The first part investigates the domestic and international definition and the different levels of national interests. The auther provides her own definition about national interests: the national interest which contains three basic problems is a synthesis of various factors, namely,one country safeguards its existence and development,and ensures the security and welfare for the majority of domestic people. The auther analyzes the relation between national interests and diplomacy,and explains the Putin's diplomatic strategy revolving around national interests in the perspective of reality.The second part focuses on the background and characters of Putin's diplomatic strategy revolving around national interests.
