We saw collectivism not only as the ultimate moral of societybut also the energy for generating productivity.Since the reform and opening policy, along with the diversification ofeconomic sector and transformation to market economy, The social values'multiplication namely has become importantly, the most remarkable change. Thetraditional values, the moral outlook have met great challenge, especiallycollectivism, which was the leading value in the society, has encounteredunprecedented impacts .Many people lost their moral direction in themarket-economy pattern.This article considers that Collectivism is the inherent request of both socialdevelopment and creation of maximal beneficial result for human beings. It isnecessary to endue collectivism new connotation. Under socialist market economycondition, "the tree collective" should be built up, the pattern two-way dutycollectivism be established, the Confucian School culture society be criticallyinherited, and Collectivism become the standard when people think or act.This article plans to expound to Collectivism some new cognition from theseveral aspects: the history and the development of Collectivism, the challengeCollectivism faces in the new age, reconsidering of traditional Collectivism, therestructuring of Collectivism under new conditions and so on.
