The Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty Chu Analysis

The Treaty On the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons is the core of nuclear non-proliferation system. It is not only limited in non-proliferation, but also involved nuclear disarmament, nuclear-weapon-free zones, security assurances, ban of nuclear test, nuclear export control, nuclear safety, and countering nuclear terrorism. As a responsible big power, China participates in non-proliferation system, accedes into non-proliferation treaty system, perfects domestic legislations, and strikes up effective interrelated system. This thesis analyzes these questions, points out the challenges faced by nuclear non-proliferation system, traces out future of this system, and give suggestions for international society and China to perfect this system.
