Chinese Migrant Workers Political Participation

Since the medium 1980s,large quantities rural labor have migrated to urban or other higher income regions to develop "tide of labourers".with the continuous deepening in reform and opening-up ,especially with the gradual perfection in the structure of market economy and the changes in the structure of ownership ,there appeared drastic changes of social stratification in china during the transformation process from traditional society to modern society,from agricutural society to industrial society and from closed society to open society. A lot of scholars have made analysis from different perspectives and have obtained different conclusions.The political participation of the peasant workers is worth paying close attention .In this paper,It is researched based on the field survey and analyses with therelated theories. On the one hand,The peasant workers work in the city can improvetheir living standard and the level of culture,It is good for rural construction and the development of the countryside. On the other hand,the political participation of peasant workers dissociate from the country and the city,They are walking on the fringe of the politics. The current urgent affair is taking measures to guide and advance the political participation of the peasant workers. making them become the driving force and the growing point in Chinese political democratization and Chinese political modernization. In the meanwhile,This paper discussed the situation and the countermeasure for the peasant worker's political participation,It suggests supporting system to lead and promote the political development from the perspectives of economics politics and culture.This thesis is divided into four parts:The first part points mainly out the derivation of choosing the political participation of the peapant workers in China,and also analyses the importance of studying it. The second part explores the method of case study and defines some important conceptions,such as political participation peasant workers.The third part analyses the characteristic and the participation channel of the peasant workers' according to the on-the-spot investigation material.The fourth part analyses the restriction factors of the peasant workers' political participation .The last part suggests the countermeasure analysis of guiding and promoting the peasant workers' political participation to impels the development of China's political participation well.
