Military Grassroots Warehouse Storage Information Management System

At present, China's grass-roots army warehouse storage management of information technology is lower, the efficiency is low and the information storage means is relatively backward. These factors make the militaries' material supporting difficulties, also impact the higher authorities management decisions for grassroots warehouse. It couldn't meet the demand of military equipments and materials supporting rapidly and accurately at wartime, may even affect the outcome of war. Therefore, it's must to improve the management methods of grass-roots army warehouse storage, enhance the management of warehouse storage of information technology.This paper give a conception of improving the army's primary status of storage management and designed an information management system for grass-roots army warehouse, to meet the grass-roots army warehouse information management requirements, which based on grass-roots army warehouse management status and the existing material conditions(computers, the internet and other resources).The primary contents of this paper include planed storage, coded the information of materials and storage spaces with bar codes and coding technologies; developed strage information management system based on Visual Basic 6.0 and Access 2000 database technology, achieved module functions; studied the data recording technology with barcode recognition-based equipment and wireless transceiver module.The system has been tested and achieved the modules' function, it was able to meet the demand of grass-roots army warehouse storage information management.
