The construction of rule by law in countryside is a significant aspect of construction of a law-ruled state. Setting the social transformation of rural areas as the era background, this thesis takes Chuancun Village as its representative object, analyzes the rural residents' solutions to dispute under the viewpoint of dispute in the transformation period, and offers the social causes of existence of dispute, in attempt to provide theoretical reference for the construction of rule by law in countryside.Based on the study of dispute by many scholars, this thesis makes an empirical study in sociology approach. By analyzing the investigation data and the original information of interviews and referring to the present research, the thesis deals with the study on viewpoint of dispute and has the following finding: rural residents' viewpoint of dispute has undertaken transformation, to be more exactly, from " being ashamed of suing" and "being no sue" to "taking suing as normal".When solving the issues arising from family disputes, neighborhood disputes and inter-village disputes, the rural residents resort to different, corresponding solutions accordingly. Taking rural residents' rules of the solution to dispute into consideration, the thesis concentrates on studying the influencing factors of rural residents' choices. Study shows: (1) Rural residents chooses their rules of solving disputes in rational consideration of the reality; (2) It is socially reasonable to diversify the rules of solutions to dispute in the countryside in the transformation period; (3) the guideline of rural economy is the rule of law.
