Bhutan, a small South Asian nation, which located just between China and India, is a country of strategic significance in that area. Historically, Bhutan is closely connected with one of China's province, Tibet, in terms of politics, economy, culture and religion. Consequently, we have to realize that it is of great importance to solve those border issues in view of safeguarding territorial integrity and border stability while clearly bearing in mind that time and wisdom are needed in the whole process.Interference from a third country plays a key role in advancing bilateral relationship between China and Bhutan. Bhutan's all-round dependence on India both politically and diplomatically has led to its incapability of getting rid of India's factual control. This special relationship between Bhutan and India has to be taken into serious consideration in carrying out China's neighborhood diplomatic policies and materializing set strategic goals in the Asia-pacific region.
