On The Chinese Citizens In Pakistan Security Issues

The security protection for Chinese people overseas is an important issue in the study of diplomacy. Pakistan keeps traditionally friendly relations with china, but at the very beginning of the 21st century, the problem of the security of the Chinese people in Pakistan came prominent. Overseas security protection is a brand new theoretical concept, which needs a complete definition in theory. According to the diplomatic practice, any international intercourse would be companied by its citizens'risks, which,in the first place, depends on the domestic situation of the receiving state. China's security protection mechanism is challenged by difficulties and defects, so the current defending measures cannot meet the demand of security protection. Finally, this paper analyzes the affection on Sino-Pakistan relationship by violent attacks, and summarizes characteristics and difficulties of security protection, to explore rules and measures on how to protect the Chinese people in Pakistan, and to show the enlightenment on how to improve the overseas security protection mechanism.
