On China-g8 Dialogue And Cooperation

As global challenges are becoming more and more serious in the procession of globalization, global governance has turned into one of the most important parts of modern international affairs.G8 ,who was a mechanism of economical coordination among the leading developed countries in the 1970s,is performing as a good platform of resolving global challenges these years. China has joined the dialogue with G8 for 4 times since the year of 2003. The dialogue is mainly at the global challenges and global governance, such as global energy security, growth and responsibility in the world economy , combating climate change, and so on.The author makes a study of the dialogue and cooperation between G8 and China from the respect of global governance . The thesis is based upon the analysis on G8's effectiveness of global governance and their decision-making mechanism, G8 and China's attitudes towards the global challenges and governance. By a tentative analytic hierarchy process, the author draws his conclusion about the feasibility of the dialogue and cooperation from China's position:adopting a flexible strategy towards different issues and member-countries of G8, and promoting the democratization of the dialogue.The dialogue is an important platform of the negotiation and cooperation between China and G8 resolving the global challenges. It is also a mean of enhancing the cooperation between developing countries, as well as improving the Chinese nation herself .By the dialogue ,China can make herself understood more deeply by the international community.
