The Sino-U.S. Relations is significant bilateral relations in the world, the relation has effects on the two countries'interests and the peace and development of the entire global. As the power gaps and demands asymmetric between them, the American strategy to China has a significant influence on the trend of the Sino-U.S. Relations. The article is divided in four chapters. First, the introduction recommends the current situation in domestic and abroad nation, the ways of research. Second, this chapter analyses the origin and develop track of the American Strategy to China in the Cold War. This analysis provides historical background and objective basis for elaborating the American strategy to China after the Cold War. Third, the chapter presents an emphatic analysis of the change of the American strategy to China, and use national relations theories which contain the national political pattern, national strategy interests and so on to explain the reasons for the change of the American strategy to China.
