In 1980s, since the first Village Community Council (VCC) came into being in the countryside of China, our nation has held the Village Autonomy System for more than 20 years. Throughout these years'democratic progress, we can get a conclusion that, firstly, villagers'consciousness of democracy and law has raised a lot; secondly, the construction of the VCC has strengthened; thirdly, the degree of Village Autonomy was getting higher. However, during recent years, with the"Three Agricultural Problems"was more and more conspicuous day by day, the Village Autonomy System was discovered some problems, especially during the election process of the VCC, such as the affirm of candidates'qualification, family influence, bribery, interference of the local government, and the quality of the rural people. All these problems have made serious lessons and challenges for us.In order to solve the problems, I think Chinese government should do this: consummate the related laws, lower the family influence and enhance the quality of the rural people. Also, this article made some predictions about the future of the VCC.
