The social welfare system and the social harmony are mutually reinforcing. As the key part of social welfare system, pension scheme is immediately related to the quality of life for the old and therefore, affect social stability and harmony as well.Compared to western pension scheme, China, Japan and Korea, have comparability in pension scheme because of similarity in historical, social and cultural backgrounds. However, Japan's pension scheme has formed a completely near-perfect pension scheme after more than half a century of development; Korea's pension scheme, even though still faces such problems as pension funds, complicated pension schemes and other issues, after 20 years of development, the pension system itself is still in the process of continuous improvement. As for China, the pension schemes, which were established relatively late, and in the transition period, face lots of problems like the stealth debt, lack of law, low coverage and ageing population. Thus, China's pension schemes still need a long period to develop and improve.Therefore, I hope through the comparison of pension scheme between Japan, South Korea and China, from five aspects of policy, input, operation, production, outcomes, and the comparative analysis of pension scheme, I can find the difference of the pension schemes between Japan, South Korea and China, and discover the reason behind the gap. And through Japan and South Korea's experience, I can find the solutions to the problems which China is facing...
