During the latter period of the 20th century, especially after the Cold War, the globalization is speeding up, and the international political and economic relationship develops to a new stage. As the shift of strategic aim from existence strategy to developing strategy in every country, economic profit, economic position and national economic security become the first strategic aim that big countries pursuit in the world. Geo-economic relationaship takes place of geo-political relationship, and plays a decisive part in every country's geo-relationship in the world at present. China, Japan and South Korea all face the big shortage of oil and gas. Oil and gas, as the center of energy sources' security, have benn crucially influencing the three countries' national economic security. This thesis, under the framework of human geography, with the theory and research method of geo-economy, geo-politics and international economic and trade geography, analyzes the oil and natural gas' geo-relationship (competition and cooperation) in East Asia among China, Japan and Korea S., as well as the oil and natural gas security strategy of the three countries under the background of supply and demand geo-pattern in East Asia. Starting with the oil and natural gas pattern of supply and demand in China, Japan and Korea S., this thesis analyzes the oil and natural gas security strategy, and strives to make construction to China's oil and natural gas' security strategy.Firstly, the thesis briefly shows the deposit of oil and natural gas in the three countries and the great significance in each country's historical development. Secondly, from the geo-perspective, this thesis further researches the supply and demand pattern of oil and natural gas in China, Japan and Korea S. Thirdly, under the geo-pattern, this thesis greatly stresses the oil and natural gas' security strategic tendencies in China, Japan and Korea S. Lastly, this thesis analyzes the geo-economic cooperating potential in oil and natural gas security among China, Japan and Korea S.
