From the perspective of Global Governance, this thesis tries to analyze the history and presence of China's participation in the international anti-drug cooperation in Southeast Asia. As to the problems existing in China's participation in the international anti-drug cooperation in Southeast Asia, several factors could be generalized from following levels, namely, the capability of actors in the international anti-drug cooperation, the entanglement of state sovereignty as well as national interests within the international anti-drug cooperation, the imperfectness of the international anti-drug cooperation regime, and so on. Based on this analysis, the thesis concludes that the improvement of the international anti-drug cooperation in Southeast Asia relies on bringing roles of various anti-drug governance actors into play fully, enhancing the multilateral cooperation within the field, perfecting the existing anti-drug regime and deepening the regional cooperation of Southeast Asia.
