Arabian peninsula situated at the south-east of Asia, stretching across the corridor form Asia to Africa. Because of its significant position, it had been invaded by many colonialism countries in the history. Yemen and Saudi Arabia is the two largest countries in the peninsula, the colonialism countries leaving them more than 1,200 kilometers of strategically and economically important sea and land territory after World Warâ… , which strongly affected the two countries relations and the safety of Arabian peninsula.The boundary dispute between Yemen and Saudi Arabia began from 1934 Treaty of Taif. Lost the war in 1934, Yemen had to cession her territory Najran and other areas to Saudi Arabia. But from then on, Yemen never give up her demanded on these areas. The long history of boundary dispute can be disparted three stages according to the unification of North and South Yemen. the first stage from the 1934 Yemen-Saudi war to the unification of Yemen in 1990,the whole course of boundary negotiation get on slowly, The split of South and North Yemen and their inside bother tamper with the relations of Saudi Arabia. The second stage from 1990 Yemen's unification to 1990 MOU signed, though Yemen-Saudi relations are shelved because of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in August 1990,but as the moderation of American and other countries, the two states subscribed MOU in1995,which constituted Yemen's first express confirmation that the 1934 treaty was valid and binding on both parties, becoming the turning point of the boundary dispute of the two states. The third stage from MOU to the signed of treaty of Jeddah in 2000. Affected by other disputes solved peacefully, Yemen and Saudi make Lake Como talks, Sana'a talks and Jeddah talks. And signed the treaty of Jeddah in 2000, which described the boundary as"final and permanent", and solved the nearly 70 years of a bitter and almost uninterrupted territorial dispute which are threaten to the bilateral relations and area peace.The conclusions of this article is analyze the solved particularity of Yemen-Saudi Arabia boundary dispute: beginning with the Taif treaty ,and over with the Jeddah treaty, but Taif treaty was incorporated in Jeddah treaty without any amendment. This unique treaty in the annals of modern treaties, indicated that mutual understand and benefit is the most factor when solved history leaved questions.
