The relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law is very complicated and delicate, which is related by non-blood and non-marriage. In China, the topic about the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law lasts forever because of their most frequent and trivial contradiction. With the rapid development of the social economy, the relationship between them has been changing subtly. The focus appears more about in the difference of sense, the ways of education, the attitude of life and so on. If the traditional methods are still used to solve the problems appeared and present, of course, it cannot work. But Noddings' caring ethics theory enlightens Chinese mother-in-law and daughter-in-law to solve their thorny problem and develop their caring relationship.Nel.Noddings is one of the representatives of caring ethics. On the basis of the Western ideological tradition of caring ethics, Nel. Noddings has developed her theory of care-centered ethics with such characteristics as relationship, concreteness, feasibility, affection and so on. Noddings' theory emphasizes the response for needing, the importance for personal experience of practice. If we use Noddings' caring ethics theory, keeping the advantages of our traditional culture e.g. kindliness, filial piety, probably we would build a new way to promote caring relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. As to developing caring relationship between them, man's care(the man is not only the mother-in-law's son but also the daughter-in-law's husband) is its precondition, mother-in-law's kindliness and daughter-in-law's filial piety is its basis , the feeling of gratitude is its linchpin, the atmosphere in a family is its external condition.
