With the rapid development of urbanization,more and more young people are pouring into the big cities,at the same time there appears another crowd of people.That group is "old drifters".The changes caused by social people moving attract people's attention.From the view of socialization,the "old drifters" also belong to the process of socialization and the changes of the roles are the key and basic link.On the basis of the classification of the "old drifters",this study uses qualitative methods to conduct in-depth interviews with 12 rural "mother-drifters" in Beijing to obtain first-hand information.Role theory as analytical framework,applying the social gender perspective,this paper analyzes the current situation of the family and community role transformation.In order to restore the real and entangled with the role of the conversion process,this paper analyzes the "role expectation-role comprehension-role practice-role orientation".This paper discusses the status of role transition from both family and community.And it turns out,rural "mother-drifters" are faced with the dilemma of transforming the role of the family and community of "free nannies",and "stranger",by "good wife" and "neighborhoods”.That is,the group of women in rural areas who are in the family of family members,who are in their families,face the plight of their wives.In the family of children,they face the dilemma of psychological adaptation from the leading role to the auxiliary role.In urban community,due to the differences between urban and rural areas,subconscious stereotypes,they face with the plight of the marginalization of urban community roles that have been labeled as "stranger".Based on the analysis of the role played by the "mother-drifters" in the family of the children,this paper argues that the group also faces the problem of the role gap.And the psychological adaptation process of role transition has experienced the development path of compromise-grievance / dissatisfaction-trajectory.The analysis of the role of the "mother-drifters" in rural was analyzed that the traditional gender norms of society still influence the role of the rural family in the role of the family,and determine the family relationship and family status of rural women;The interactive effects of traditional gender norms and gender ideologies on the influence of Modernization make rural "mother-drifters" face role transition of external factors;"Sequel" of urban and rural dual system,makes the city residents' discrimination against rural residents consciousness,leads to the marginalization of the urban community roles of the rural "mother-drifters".This paper attempts to integrate the individual,family,community and government resources,in order to achieve the smooth role transition of the rural "mother-drifters",to make some countermeasures and suggestions.
