Development Of Young People Studying On The Mainland In Two Decades

Since the relations of cross-strait are thawing, the phenomenon that Taiwan young people studying on the mainland is growing continuously from scratch, from small to big. Now already has a considerable scale. Today, they began with a positive attitude into the people's vision, and active in cross-strait cultural exchanges in education. Taiwan's youth studying on the mainland is consistent with the common interests of the people on both sides, but also promote the relations of cross-strait can develop into peace. It is precisely because of its special importance, the author will sort out the conditions that Taiwan youth studying on mainland in 20 years, analyzing the reasons for its development and its related problems arise, and will also put forward the views in order to supply some reference for the mainland universities to handle the problems of more Taiwan youth studying on mainland in the future.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part is a brief history of Taiwan's youth studying on mainland. This part mainly summarizes the conditions of Taiwan's young people studying on the mainland during the Japanese occupation period and emphasis on the patriotic feeling of youth in Taiwan. The second part is the condition that Taiwan's youth studying on the mainland after 1987.This is the focus of this paper. It mainly reflects 5 aspects in Taiwan youth studying on mainland in 20 years including the scale of development, education channels, professional choice, the characteristics of life and the causes of study. The third part is the problems and countermeasures that exist in Taiwan youth studying on mainland.
