Study Of The Development Path Of Grass-roots Nonprofit Non-profit Organization

Non-profit organization, also known as non-governmental organizations, volunteer organizations, the third sector and so on, which rise of the 20th century70s,and have developed rapidly on a global scale 80-90s in the 20th century.As a new force, non-profit organizations play an important role in the modern social life, causing the concern of many scholars and research.Especially after our country has experienced some public crisis, such as "SARS", "5.12 Earthquake", non-profit organizations, particularly public welfare non-profit organizations in the society is able to demonstrate the value of. Many scholars have given a high evaluation of NPO,and they think that it is a major innovation about organizations and institutions,playing an important role in poverty alleviation, rights protection and social harmony and stability.Grass-roots public welfare non-profit organization is such a class organization:they are substantially non-profit organizations exist at the non-profit, non-government and so on, but most do not get legal status, and for the bottom-up form for the special groups of community to provide services. As part of a non-profit organizations,the development of the grass-roots public welfare NPO and the NPO is synchronized. Since the 20th century 80-90, China's economic reform,transformation ofGovernment Functions and the social objectives of harmonious society provided unprecedented space for the grass-roots public welfare on-profit organizations.Under the influence of the development of a nationwide non-profit organization,the grass-roots non-profit organization in Xi'an have also been developing rapidly,playing an important role in the maintenance of women and children rights,poverty alleviation etc. But the grass-roots public welfare organization there are many inadequacies in the service sector, sources of funding and role play etc. Not well done roles of the third sector of society outside of government and business,and can not meet the specific groups of society and overall social development needs. This paper uses literature analysis, interviews and participant observation, as the features of grass-roots public welfare in Xi'an a starting point,and analyzes the existing problems and the reasons. Then it discusses around their problems and the causes for this problem discussed. Finally, it proposes the Macro-and micro-proposals to encourage the development of the grass-roots public welfare non-profit organization. At present,the domestic research does not fully for the public welfare non-profit organizations,especially grass-roots public welfare non-profit organizations.In this case and In the context of social transition, this study has some practical significance to explore how to promote the development of grass-roots public welfare non-profit organizations.
